Floating Leaf (aka Cindy Ann Bowers) is living small on a sailboat on the US East Coast. She's been making quilts for over 40 years and just likes to play with fabric.
Why tiny quilts?
They don't require lots of fabric, thus take little time to make, space to store and money to invest. They don't ask for commitment. No one has to love them or treat them with undue reverence. Tiny quilts are simply a way to play with fabric. A tiny experiment in color or composition that can quickly evolve to a new color way or composition permutation. Kinda like a sketch...
